Advent - Expect Incarnation

It's easy to critique religion by saying that it's a bunch of promises that never come true. However, the God of the Bible challenges that critique with Jesus. Jesus is promised and Jesus shows up, not in a puff of smoke, but as a baby born of a woman. He lives among us, he serves us, and eventually dies for us. The fancy church word is "incarnation", but if you dig deeper into that word, you find who Jesus really is: a God who come be with us, save us, change us, and use us to change others. The story is the story of Christmas.
