Follow Me - Week 3

Jesus’ story is about reconciliation. It is about bringing together what was torn apart by sin, abandonment, and violation; uniting heaven and earth; and renewing the relationships with God and his people. But what role do we play? We live in a world that is overcome with conflict and turmoil that is all in need of reconciliation. In this series that is all about the marks of a disciple of Jesus, we need to ask how do Jesus’ disciples handle conflict? What role does vulnerability play? The Bible speaks very clearly on this: all of Jesus’ disciples are to both engage conflict, seek to make peace in the midst of it, and recognize that inside of them there will always be areas of their lives that are fighting the work of God’s spirit.
