Missio Leadership

In this sermon from March 2014, Kyle Costello, Jeremy Cox, and Nate Tunnell discuss the office of elder and discuss the process for installing elders at Missio Dei. We learn that elders are shepherds and stewards, shepherding a flock that does not belong to them. The head of the church is Jesus and the elder’s role is to oversee the community God has entrusted to them. Elders protect the gospel, encourage, pray and seek growth and maturity for the community.
